Artist Statement
This assignment for the "conflict" is about wolves and how it's effecting the farmers crops and
stock. Wolves are beautiful creatures and don't deserve the punishment. The wolves are
trying to survive in the wild and are doing what they need to do.. There are a ton of cattle and not
enough wolves.. they will go extinct if the farmers keep killing the wolves. I'm trying to send a message to people that killing wolves is wrong no matter the reason.
My "Fragile Angels" conflict represents protecting wolves from extinction from farmers killing wolves. The theme is wolves and cattle conflict. I used imagination and researching body language of wolves in order to make this art piece a success.
When I was doing my artwork, I used Pattern, Rhythm and movement. I enjoyed creating the fighting wolves, it was a ton of fun to create.
I enjoyed the whole drawing wolves and creating a ton of texture, I put a ton of detail into my art piece. I'm really disapointed in how most of the detail didn't show but it was still a blast to draw.
